Sidecar racing and a crash sequence on the starting grid. All photographs taken by myself with a 35mm Iloca Rapid rangefinder camera. The Iloca was produced from 1952 to 1959 by Wilhelm Witt of Hamburg. The name "Rapid" came from the adoption of a rapid winding lever which proved to be very useful in capturing this event.

Top of the Pops this week (1) I like it - Gerry & the Pacemakers. (2) I'm confessin' that I love you - Frank Ifield. (3) Atlantis - The Shadows.
