Today I had a great flight in a 1940's de Havilland Tiger Moth at Shoreham Airport.
Many thanks to my daughter Maxine and my son in law David for a wonderful present to celebrate my 70th birthday.
My Dad worked for de Havilland and Rolls-Royce Small Engines Division at Stag Lane, Edgeware from 1921 to 1971 - a total of fifty years with the same company but he never flew.
Some of his photographs from his time in the RAF can be seen here.

Finally my thanks to Dave, Steve and not forgetting Marie-Alice (Mabs) behind the desk at Perry Air Ltd.
